New LEGO podcast episode dives into the leadership mindset

A new episode of the Our LEGO Stories podcast has been made available on YouTube, exploring the mindset of leadership within the LEGO Group.

The only official LEGO podcast to be currently ongoing, at least until Bits N’ Bricks returns, is back with another episode interviewing the employees of the LEGO Group as to how leadership is handled within the company.

Hosts Julie Foster and Loren Shuster are joined by guests Senior Operations Manager for the India market team Gaurav Sahni, Senior Product Manager Sanne Dollerup and the UK and Ireland Operations Director Lydia Warren.

“One thing I love about the LEGO Group is the openness for feedback,” explained Lydia Warren. “Feedback is given but also feedback is sought regularly, and the reason why this is crucial to me is that it helps me learn and grow.”

“Feedback that I got given fairly early on at the LEGO Group is that I had it all together, that I seem to be on top of everything, and that wasn’t the case when you’re trying to homeschool two kids in the middle of a pandemic and you’re learning a new job. But that was a good reminder to continue to be authentic and open.”
