Peek inside Switzerland’s first LEGO Store
The LEGO Group has shared a number of photos from the opening of the very first LEGO Store in Switzerland.
Following the opening of the new retail location in the Glatt shopping centre in Wallisellen, the company shared a peek inside the store for those who can’t make it in person. As with any new LEGO Store, it featured a few unique brick-built displays that are personalised to the area.
In the pictures below, you can see that LEGO Store Zurich is home to a mosaic showing some of Zurich’s stunning views, including quaint urban architecture and towering snowy mountains in the background. There’s also a brick version of the Swiss flag and a life-sized minifigure character with the Swiss flag on her chest.
“Today’s opening of our first Swiss LEGO Store is an important milestone for us as the LEGO Group,” said Karen Pascha-Gladyshev, Vice President and General Manager in a statement shared to the LEGO Group’s LinkedIn page. “We are immensely pleased to be able to inspire our young and old Swiss fans in the popular Glatt and to let them immerse themselves in a very special LEGO world full of creativity.”
If you want to browse the very first LEGO Store in Switzerland for yourself, head down to Glatt shopping centre between 9am and 8pm, Monday through Saturday. You can also find out more about the store online over at LEGO.com.
