Here’s the perfect botanical set to elevate LEGO NINJAGO Dragon Stone Shrine

A custom build combining a LEGO Icons Botanical Collection set with a recent LEGO NINJAGO release makes for the ultimate East Asian display.

LEGO Icons 10315 Tranquil Garden is an impressive display set all on its own, featuring various Japanese-inspired botanical features to create a Zen garden, complete with plants, trees, and koi pond. However, if you want to take your brick-built display to the next level, one redditor has an idea that could be perfect.

reddit user reise_knot shared some photos of their own creation, combining 10315 Tranquil Garden with LEGO NINJAGO 71819 Dragon Stone Shrine. The waterfall and cherry blossom tree from the LEGO NINJAGO set blend perfectly with the Zen garden, while the black base of 10315 Tranquil Garden provides a sturdy layer to keep everything together.

To recreate this for yourself, the combined RRP of both sets would usually set you back £199.98 at full price – but luckily there’s a cheaper way to still get the same effect. GAME offers 20% off dozens of new and popular LEGO sets right now, including 10315 Tranquil Garden and 71819 Dragon Stone Shrine. That brings the LEGO Icons set down to just £76 and the LEGO NINJAGO to just £84. In total, you’d pay £160 in total at GAME, saving £40 overall on the winning combo.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.

The Ninjago set is full price on GAME as far as I can see. Still a saving on Tranquil Garden, at least.

I did the same thing for the Medieval Blacksmith. That frame is so versatile, I made it into a parts list in Bricklink for future use on more.
