The new LEGO Art set overtakes 10276 Colosseum as the LEGO Group’s biggest set, with an enormous 11,695 elements. The majority of these are 1×1 round plates, with white ones making up landmass and blue and green ones making up the oceans. The base of the map is made up of 40 16×16 plates, making a stable structure for your map to rest on.
The map itself can also be adjusted to suit the location of the builder. You can choose whether to put North and South America, Europe or Asia and Australia in the centre, just like globe designers do in real life. There are also map ‘pins’ included in the set for extra customisation, so you can mark out your hometown, dream holiday destinations, and more on the map once it’s finished.
31203 World Map is selling for £229.99 / $249.99 / €249.99 from today. We’ve broken down all you need to know about the build in our in-depth review here, including what it’s like to build with so many tiny, virtually identical plates.
