Play LEGO 2K Drive for free in December with PlayStation Plus

December’s line-up of PlayStation Plus titles will include LEGO 2K Drive, with the racing game available free for all subscribers to the service

LEGO 2K Drive arrived in style earlier this year, with the AAA racing game having received a number of bonus DLC packs since its release. The title has also consistently appeared in the top 10 most bought physical titles since it screeched into view on May 9, 2023, and it’s even been the focus of a recent LEGO Ideas competition.

Now comes exciting news for PlayStation Plus members, as LEGO 2K Drive has been confirmed as being part of the service’s line-up of games due to arrive on December 5. The fast-paced racer will join Powerwash Simulator and Sable from next month and be available to download for free until January 1, 2024.

LEGO 2K Drive is compatible with both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles and requires a monthly subscription to the service, which currently costs £6.99 / $9.99 / €8.99. The line-up of games available on PlayStation Plus is refreshed each month, bringing players something new to try on a regular basis.

In LEGO 2K Drive, racers get to skid their way around Bricklandia in a massive open-world adventure. Take on players from around the world, customise your drivers and vehicles, blast across roads, seas and sands and tackle the game’s sprawling Story mode. LEGO 2K Drive also supports cosplay, allowing you try your racing skills against your friends and see if you’ve got what it takes to win the Sky Trophy.

LEGO 2K Drive recently received its Season 2 Drive Pass, which contains 100 new tiers, the ability to earn 22 free rewards, add three vehicles to your collection and much more. In addition, LEGO Insiders can currently unlock an exclusive vehicle in the game, by trading 400 points for a unique Slushy Truck code.
