Possible first look at LEGO 2K Goooal! in new video

A potential first look at LEGO 2K Goooal! has been spotted in a new video partnership for the Play Unstoppable campaign.

The new video featuring Loserfruit, which could be teasing or evidence of a rumoured Fortnite collaboration, could have revealed a new and previously listed LEGO game at the end. Just before the video is over, as Loserfruit sits at a desk, a pair of monitors feature footage from games.

The game on the right looks similar to a car boosting in LEGO 2K Drive, as identified by the signature light blue boost, the bright blue sky and the large object to the left. However, the game on the right is a bit less familiar. What appears to be a football pitch with shades of green and white markings is visible. While this could be any football game currently playable, this may also be our first look at the currently unconfirmed LEGO 2K Goooal!

It would make sense for the two LEGO 2K titles to be showcased next to each other, though at the time of writing, only LEGO 2K Drive has been officially confirmed and all rumours should be taken with caution. This may be another football game – the video makes it hard to tell.

Based on what we can see, the game on the left seems to focus on top-down gameplay, similar to many other football games. At least three players are featured on-screen with other shapes that seem to be shadows of banners above. A longer video on the LEGO website features a longer look at the gameplay, but only of a corner of the screen.

You can keep track of everything we currently know about LEGO 2K Goooal! in our initial report.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
