Predicting set-exclusive LEGO gifts-with-purchases for 2025

At least one set-exclusive LEGO gift-with-purchase is rumoured to make an appearance in 2025 but there’s potential for many more.

In 2024, the LEGO Group released a flurry of GWPs that came exclusively with some of the biggest releases of the year. We had 5009015 Cerebro with 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion, 40729 Shackleton’s Lifeboat with 10355 The Endurance, and 40730 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber with 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge, to name but a few.

Looking ahead to the rest of 2025, we’ve already had 40757 Corner Kiosk coming with 10350 Tudor Corner and rumours that 40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod will accompany 10356 USS Enterprise D. It seems that the LEGO Group is not slowing down with the idea of set-exclusive gifts – so where else could they pop up?

LEGO DC 76300 Arkham Asylum

Arkham Asylum 1024x576

LEGO DC is expected to welcome a $400 D2C set based on Arkham Asylum in the summer of 2025. The hefty price tag and wide fan appeal would lend it perfectly to an exclusive GWP, perhaps a prison van featuring an extra character. At the very least, we’d hope that, if it does happen, it doesn’t follow the pattern of 5009015 Cerebro featuring a minifigure that you get in the main set.

The main build would surely focus on some of the franchise’s biggest villains, so perhaps the GWP would be an opportunity to include an extra guard or ‘good’ character to balance out the line-up.

LEGO Marvel modular building

There are no rumours swirling about a LEGO Marvel modular for 2025 but if there is a fresh addition to the growing collection, it will likely feature an exclusive GWP, like those that came before it. With Fantastic Four coming to the big screen this year, Brick Fanatics has already speculated that the modular could focus on Fantastic Four’s Baxter Building.

The towering office block would share a lot of similarities to 76269 Avengers Tower and it might not have quite as much appeal as some of the MCU locations. Still, long-term Marvel fans who prefer the Fantastic Four could see some far-reaching deep cuts like we got in 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion – possibly complete with its own GWP. Some potential contenders could include an extra vehicle, like a helicopter or ship to land on its iconic landing pad.

LEGO Star Wars 75419 UCS Death Star

The biggest and most expensive LEGO set ever is rumoured to come in 2025 in the form of 75419 UCS Death Star, priced at $1,000. For such a hefty price tag, you’d likely expect some kind of exclusive GWP. It’s tough to think of a likely build that could relate to the Death Star, seeing as it hangs in space on its own. You could have a microfighter TIE Fighter or Millennium Falcon but it surely wouldn’t be to scale.

Another option is, like 40730 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber and 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge, to have a GWP that’s of interest to Star Wars fans, without being directly related. A brick-built accessory or commemorative coin are some items that the LEGO Star Wars team has gone with in the past.

LEGO Star Wars 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship

Another major LEGO Star Wars release for 2025 is 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship. While it’s not rumoured to be quite as pricey as 75419 UCS Death Star, the rumoured RRP of $299.99 and the fact it’s expected to be a May the 4th set mean an exclusive GWP is certainly likely.

Jango’s ship was most often seen on Kamino, so perhaps a build that includes a Kaminoan would work well. Alternatively, a small diorama of Jango’s living quarters would also suit well, perhaps featuring a minifigure of a young Boba, if he doesn’t feature in the main build.

LEGO Icons 10352 Krusty Burger

LEGO The Simpsons is thought to be making a return in 2025 in the form of 10352 Krusty Burger. With huge anticipation already spiralling around the rumoured set even at this early stage, it would be a smart move from the LEGO Group to capitalise on its release with an exclusive GWP.

Seeing as it’s a fast food restaurant, perhaps a delivery truck to expand the build – or even the Simpson family’s own car, if we’re really lucky.

LEGO Icons Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl

Another hotly anticipated IP release is the rumoured Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl, also said to join LEGO Icons in 2025. An obvious GWP option would be the lifeboat, often sending beleaguered pirates to safety. It would be a way to include fan favourites Pintel and Ragetti and would follow the recipe already established by 40729 Shackleton’s Lifeboat and 10355 The Endurance.

LEGO Icons 10354 Bag End

Bag End featured 1024x576

Both 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell and 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr came with GWPs, so it stands to reason that if the rumoured 10354 Bag End is on the way, it could also have its own freebie.

10333 Barad-dûr came with 40693 Fell Beast, so a gift in the same vein would be a creature or location also based in the Shire. A fireworks-based set from Bilbo’s party, perhaps, or Gandalf coming into the village on his cart.

Of course, all of these ideas are pure speculation. We won’t know for sure whether any of the rumoured sets mentioned here are actually on the way, let alone with accompanying GWPs, until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. Until then, check out everything confirmed or rumoured for 2025 here.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
