With the recent rumours of the 90th-anniversary set being a recreation of a classic castle, a new Back to the Future model, and the anticipation for more models releasing next month – April 2022 – one announcement may have gone under the radar.
For anyone who might have missed it, a brand new LEGO Ideas contest has been live for some time, presenting a second opportunity to get your submission displayed in the LEGO House, as well as winning some prize packages with hard-to-find sets that are only available at the LEGO House in Denmark.
By making a model to fit in one of three categories – Musical, Futuristic and Celebrate – before April 7, you will be in with a chance of winning the grand prize packing including 21037 LEGO House, 40502 The Brick Moulding Machine, 40503 Dagny Holm – Master Builder, the 90th-anniversary set and the chance to have your creation displayed in the LEGO House.
While one winner will get all four builds, two runner-ups per category will get all but the 90th-anniversary model. Last but not least, everyone who makes it into the fan vote (approximately 75 entrants) will win 21037 LEGO House.
This contest will remain open until April 7 and all entries can be built physically or digitally, though they must be able to be recreated as a physical model.
