Five retiring LEGO sets worth watching in LEGO Insiders Days

Keep an eye on those stock levels and get ready for Tuesday.

Five retiring LEGO sets worth watching in LEGO Insiders Days

With the first LEGO Insiders Days deals confirmed, there are five sets retiring next month worth keeping a close eye on, in case they come in or out of stock.

Two gifts-with-purchase have been confirmed for next week's LEGO Insiders Days event. This includes 40912 Sea Serpent with any purchase of £160 / $180 / €180 and over. There's also 5010053 Airplane when spending £90 / $100 / €100 or more on Creator 3-in-1, City or Friends models.

There's likely to be more offers when the event takes place from July 7 to July 12, but for now you can plan your order around these two gifts-with-purchase. 40912 Sea Serpent is likely to be the more popular of the two, given the Castle connection. There are several great ways to qualify for this gift-with-purchase, from pre-orders to Pick a Brick.

However, the numerous LEGO sets retiring at the end of next month are an even better way to make the most of the LEGO Insiders Days deals. Here are five such sets which will have you well on your way to qualifying for the gifts, or earn them outright, and are at risk of selling out fast, if not during the event.

21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale

Price: £314.99 / $359.99 / €359.99 Stock status: UK (available now) / US (temporarily out of stock) / EU (available now)

It's a surprise to see that 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale is still available in some regions with its numerous exclusive features and minifigures. It's currently temporarily out of stock in the US, with a retirement set for July 31.

UK and European LEGO collectors should keep this model at the top of their list during LEGO Insiders Days, while US fans should keep an eye out to see whether it comes back in stock, or sells out entirely.

21350 Jaws

Price: £129.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 Stock status: UK (available now) / US (available now) / EU (available now)

While it won't quite earn you 40912 Sea Serpent on its own, the £129.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 21350 Jaws is based on the iconic film with a trio of exclusive minifigures and some phenomenal display value.

It seems likely that it will be a popular pick for many fans before it finally retires at the end of July, so watch the stock levels closely during LEGO Insiders Days 2026.

76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors' Edition

Price: £369.99 / $429.99 / €429.99 Stock status: UK (available now) / US (temporarily out of stock) / EU (available now)

LEGO Harry Potter 76417 Gringotts Bank featured-1

76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors' Edition has been a hit in the run-up to its retirement at the end of July and has been highly praised since its release by the Brick Fanatics team, including in our review.

It's currently temporarily out of stock or sold out in many regions, including the US, but there's still hope to pick up this build with a gift-with-purchase before time is up. Whatever you do, don't hang around until the expected Back to Hogwarts event later this year, though, if there is to be one. It is unlikely to be available for much longer.

10302 Optimus Prime

Price: £159.99 / $179.99 / €179.99 Stock status: UK (available now) / US (available now) / EU (available now)

LEGO Transformers 10302 Optimus Prime-featured

The LEGO Transformers collaboration has added another set this year, but now the first is due to retire later this month. 10302 Optimus Prime costs £159.99 / $179.99 / €179.99 and can transform between robot and vehicle forms without an extensive rebuild.

Given the high-profile nature of Transformers, we wouldn't be surprised to see the iconic Autobot not last until the end of the month. Either way, it's a great pick for the LEGO Insiders Days deals.

40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel

Price: £139.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 Stock status: UK (available now) / US (available now) / EU (available now)

LEGO 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel featured

40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel isn't quite as widely appealing as the rest of this list, but the latest Maersk model was only launched earlier this year and is already due to retire in December. That suggests that the LEGO Group doesn't have too much stock of the set.

Waiting to pick it up later in the year will include the risk of it selling out suddenly. Those who simply have to have the container ship in their collection should act during LEGO Insiders Days. It's not enough for 40912 Sea Serpent alone, but you won't need much else to qualify for the gift.
