First rumoured details on LEGO 2023 advent calendars

We’ve only just finished opening the doors on this year’s sets, but the first rumoured details around the 2023 LEGO advent calendars are already beginning to surface online.

Advent calendars are as much a tradition for the LEGO Group as they are for the rest of the world, with five different festive options delivered every year. It should come as no surprise to learn that 2023 will apparently bring us more of the same, then, with advent calendars from LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Super Heroes, LEGO Friends and LEGO City.

That’s according to Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat, who reports that a galaxy far, far away will take the crown for the biggest seasonal set in 2023, with 320 pieces in 75366 Star Wars Advent Calendar. At the moment, next year’s LEGO Super Heroes calendar isn’t specifically attached to either Marvel or DC, but looking at 2021 and 2022, it’s not hard to imagine we’ll be getting a third Marvel set.

No other info on these calendars beyond their piece counts is available at the time of writing, but 1414falconfan suggests they’ll maintain the pricing structure from 2022 in the US, with licensed calendars coming in at $44.99 apiece. History also tells us they’ll launch in September 2023, though it will likely be a while before we hear the first rumours surrounding their specific contents.
