Rumoured LEGO Batman 2022 set names may have surfaced

More details on the rumoured LEGO Batman 2022 sets potentially themed to the titular movie may have appeared online.

German retailer JB Spielwaren has updated their listing for the officially revealed 76239 Batmobile Tumbler: Scarecrow Showdown with a range of other related models, some of which have been revealed and others that have not, but may have been rumoured before. Please note that nothing is confirmed until the LEGO Group officially announces it.

In the description of the online listing, three builds titled 76181 Batmobile, 76179 Bike Chase and 76183 Batcave are named but have yet to receive individual pages on the storefront, despite no official announcement of them.

Previous reports from Instagram user 1414FalconFan stated that three sets for the upcoming Batman film – scheduled to launch in 2022 – would be released at the price points of $14.99, $39.99 and $69.99. The user has since seen the new information from the retailer and updated their report to match these costs to the names.

According to the rumour, 76179 Bike Chase will be priced at $14.99, 76181 Batmobile will cost $39.99 and 76183 Batcave will set shoppers back $69.99. They do disclose that these may not be the final set names, if true at all, but that the titles are, apparently, accurate to the contents themselves.

The future of LEGO Batman and the many heroes of DC Comics have yet to have their brick-built offerings for 2022 confirmed just yet, so take any information with the usual caution. We’ll be sure to update you when we know more about what is yet to come for LEGO DC. In the meantime, 76239 Batmobile Tumbler: Scarecrow Showdown is scheduled to launch soon and the first reviews have appeared online.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
