Rumoured LEGO Despicable Me 4 polybag may now have a name

A new online rumour may have revealed the name of an upcoming Minions-related LEGO Despicable Me 4 promotional polybag.

We had our first look this week at two new LEGO Despicable Me 4 sets for 2024, with 75582 Brick-Built Gru and Minions and 75583 Minions and Gru’s Family Mansion both due to arrive on May 1, 2024, two months ahead of the film’s cinematic debut on July 12.

At least two more models based on the Illumination animated movie are also confirmed for a reveal soon, although no official details have been announced at this stage. However, a new online rumour seems to suggest that one additional upcoming LEGO Despicable Me 4 build may in fact be a promotional polybag, with a potential name now attached to the set.

Instagram user fateful_lego (via brick_clicker) has reported that 30678 Minions’ Jetboard could also be arriving on May 1, with the small 48-piece model said to retail for $4.99. A previous rumour last month mentioned 30678 Polybag having the same potential piece count, price point and release date, but all of the above information remains speculation for now until we hear otherwise from the LEGO Group.

With the release of the animated sequel mere months away and the first LEGO Despicable Me 4 sets arriving on May 1, we’d hope to have an official reveal of the rest of the theme’s 2024 line-up very soon.
