Sean Astin tours the new LEGO The Lord of the Rings set

The reveal of LEGO Icons 10354 The Lord of the Rings: The Shire has been accompanied by a tour of the build by Samwise’s actor Sean Astin.

10354 The Lord of the Rings: The Shire is coming to shelves soon, and none other than Sean Astin – who plays Samwise Gamgee in the original movie trilogy – has been brought on board to promote the build through a soothing walkthrough of the new LEGO Icons model.

You can watch the animated walkthrough by clicking on the following video, with a suitably cosy and serene feeling that is only boosted by Sean’s commentary.

There’s even a surprise cameo from the other recent LEGO The Lord of the Rings sets, both of which are available now. Sean makes an appearance at the end of the video, surrounded by the trio of modern LEGO Middle-earth models. You can take a closer look at the trio together by clicking here.
