See LEGO Marvel 76210 Hulkbuster and 76105 The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition side by side

LEGO Marvel 76210 Hulkbuster has been met with widespread criticism from the LEGO community — but how does it shape up next to an earlier version of the same suit?

We already broke down some of the key differences and similarities between 76210 Hulkbuster and 76105 The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition, but LEGO YouTuber MiniSuperHeroesToday has put both sets next to each other in a video, to compare them visually. If nothing else, it does give a good sense of the scale of the new set, with 76105 is about the same height as one of 76210’s legs.

Anyone who’s seen the general consensus about 76210 Hulkbuster won’t be surprised that MiniSuperHeroesToday is unimpressed with the new addition to the LEGO Marvel theme.

“Seeing them side by side and considering the values, it’s just too hard to say that the new one is worth it,” the YouTuber concludes.

While it’s true that the updated design brings a number of new features, such as a higher number of light bricks and more detail in the armour, such as the shoulder pads and arm guards. The headpiece is also quite close to the original suit in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Ultimately, the loudest voices seem to be representing the majority in this case, with very little praise to be found regarding the upcoming LEGO Marvel set. For anyone who is keen to take it home for themselves, 76210 Hulkbuster will be available to purchase from November 4 for VIP members (and November 9 for everyone else) for £474.99 / $549.99 / €549.99.
