Six sets worth pre-ordering with double LEGO Insiders points and no GWP

Today is your last chance for double LEGO Insiders points and although the Jane Austen gift has sold out, there are some sets worth pre-ordering.

You’re running out of time to place any orders on the official online store and qualify for double points, but unfortunately, you can no longer stack the promotion with the free Jane Austen tribute set in the UK and the US. That doesn’t mean you should stop aiming for those double points, though.

The stock shortage on the GWP essentially removes the £135 / $150 / €150 threshold from your purchasing plans, and opens the door to pre-ordering LEGO sets without missing out on a free model. Here are six such builds that are worthy of a pre-order while double points are still available worldwide. The current double points event ends at the end of the day on June 23.

The 926-piece model is packed with exclusive minifigures, references and play features. LEGO One Piece has proven to be popular in pre-orders, and you can still prepare for the new theme while enjoying double points on the new set.

The massive and motorised 42215 Volvo EC500 Hybrid Excavator is available to pre-order for £349.99 / $429.99 / €399.99. While that’s a tough cost to come to terms with in advance of the set’s release, the higher price means you’ll earn many more points when you purchase this model, equivalent to 10% of the Technic build’s price when you put all those points towards a discount on another purchase.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
