Six more predictions for LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary minifigures

Rumour has it the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars in 2024 will see the release of some obscure and unique minifigures and we’ve only scratched the surface of the possibilities.

With the likes of Fives and Darth Malak reported already, a recent rumour from Promobricks’ Max Börnicke states that some sets in the 2024 selection will include some unique minifigures, covering characters that we’ve never seen before and would be unlikely to in any other circumstance.

While it may seem too good to be true and is currently unconfirmed at the time of writing, the potential of this rumour has us pondering on who else could be in with a shot at an anniversary minifigure, as we’ve reported previously. Following that initial list, here are six more characters that could be a future minifigure, if this rumour is to be believed.

6 – Kino Loy

Andor’s Kino Loy, played by Andy Serkis, has become a fan-favourite character thanks in no small part to his redemption arc and his unfortunate, but partially unresolved fate. A 25th-anniversary minifigure ahead of Andor’s second season could not only grant us a Kino minifigure but the prison uniform for any custom minifigures too, making it more versatile than other contenders.

5 – Cobb Vanth

The Mandalorian’s Cobb Vanth, played by Timothy Olyphant appears as a minifigure in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga using only existing pieces and new prints. While that’s a digital minifigure, we’d love to see the design borrowed for this sci-fi gunslinger as a physical minifigure.

4 – Beilert Valance

A more obscure, but undeniably cool pick could be Beilert Valance from the comic side of Star Wars. Originally appearing in 1978’s Star Wars #16, he returned for Marvel’s 80th anniversary and most recently appeared in Target Vader. While this cyborg bounty hunter is nowhere near as canon as other contenders, one look at his artwork should leave you wanting a Beilert Valance minifigure.

3 – Jocasta Nu

For an obscure minifigure based on the prequel trilogy, Jocasta Nu would be a good pick. The Chief Librarian of the Jedi Archives has an elegant but intricate gown and an existing minifigure design that could be borrowed thanks to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

2 – The Son

Following Ahsoka, spoilers for those who have not watched the new series, The Son’s minifigure may be an inevitability but either way, of the three Gods of Mortis, The Son is the easiest to adapt to a minifigure and has a design reminiscent of Inquisitors, though a bit more mythical.

1 – Jedi Bob

This might be a combination of prediction and wishful thinking but the rumours of 25th anniversary minifigures may be the chance to finally bring back Jedi Bob. This custom character created by the LEGO Group first appeared in 7163 Republic Gunship and we’ve already adapted his design for the modern age.
