The release date and more details for Star Wars: Andor Season 2 have been announced, making sense of a rumoured LEGO set.
D23 Brasil’s second day is underway, including a panel for more Star Wars news following the main D23 event earlier this year. This secondary event is already proving to be useful though, revealing the release date for the second season of Andor.
The streaming series will continue on Disney+ on April 22 2025, which is just over one week before a LEGOStar Wars set rumoured to tie in with the second season is reported to be released. That would be great timing for a set based on a Marvel or Star Wars streaming series, which can sometimes have months between their release and that of their source material.

The panel has also confirmed that the second season is adopting an interesting strategy compared to the first. It was already confirmed that the second season would lead into the Rogue One movie that has been available to watch for quite a while.
Now we know that for every three episodes of the series, a year of Cassian’s life will be passing by for a likely total of 12 episodes. Though the first season had some small time skips, this is a major change for the show.

This revelation is unlikely to affect the set but it will help showcase how Andor joins the rebellion, meets K-2SO and starts the events of Rogue One. You can look forward to seeing how the story unfolds on April 22, 2025. Rumour has it that just over one week later, the series’ LEGO Star Wars set will be released too.
