The LEGO Friends keyrings are now available at LEGO.com

If your keys feel like they’re always stuck in second gear, you can now give them a boost with the full set of LEGO Friends keyrings.

All six main characters from 21319 Central Perk are available to attach to your keys (sorry, Gunther), so you can either pick your favourite or just load up with the entire cast. In line with 2019’s official Ideas set, the minifigures are all based on the first season of the sitcom.

Hit the links below to grab yourself a new keyring direct from LEGO.com, where they’re priced at £3.99 / $5.99 / €4.99 apiece.

The keyrings first popped up online through a LEGO Discovery Centre in Melbourne and a LEGO Certified Store in Singapore, but they’ve only just arrived at the official online store.

This is the first time an Ideas set has resulted in official keyrings, potentially speaking to the consistent popularity of 21319 Central Perk since its launch almost 18 months ago.

Of course, it could be that the LEGO Group just has a huge surplus of Friends minifigures to shift – but with a follow-up set rumoured to be launching later this year, it seems more likely that the licence has just performed above and beyond expectations.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
