The LEGO Group is working to resolve VIP points problem

Some LEGO VIPs have spotted that their points balance is displaying incorrectly – the LEGO Group has assured fans that the issue is being rectified.

LEGO fans may be aware that the LEGO Store loyalty scheme, the VIP program, is getting updated. As part of the change, the VIP scheme is being moved to a new platform. When the migration of points happened, some of the millions of accounts did not transfer over correctly.

Here is an official statement that the company has issued to reassure customers:

Please don’t worry. No one has lost points. We have a backup of all points information, and are in the process of fixing the issue. It will probably take a day or two, but we will make sure everyone’s account is showing the correct points balance.

We apologise for any inconvenience and also want to reassure you that no personal data has been impacted by this migration, only VIP points data.

Anyone with questions or concerns should contact shop.LEGO.com customer service.

60227 Lunar Space Station and 60228 Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control are both eligible for double VIP points for the whole of July.
