The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part cast includes British comedians Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade

It has been officially confirmed that British comedians Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade bring their comic timing to characters in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.

Comedians, writers and actors Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade bring their vocal talents to The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, channelling their comic personas into two of the characters in the Systar System. Fielding voices Balthazar, a non-threatening teen dreamy vampire who runs the Crystal Spa. Ayoade voices Ice Cream Cone, an uptight assistant to Queen Whatevra Wa’Nabi (voiced by Tiffany Haddish).

Noel Fielding co-created and starred in surreal comedy The Mighty Boosh and recently presented latest series of The Great British Bake Off. Early in his career, Richard Ayoade scripted and starred in Garth Marenghi’s Dark Place and Nathan Barley, having since written and directed films including The Double and Submarine.

Reviews for the film came out over the weekend, with The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part achieving a 90%+ score on Rotten Tomatoes, with the Brick Fanatics review published yesterday.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part will be released on February 8, 2019.
