These 2021 Marvel and Star Wars shows might get LEGO sets

Disney has recently confirmed that a couple of their upcoming Star Wars and Marvel projects have yet to be delayed past 2021, potentially meaning that more LEGO sets are coming.

During the recent Disney Investors call, Chief Executive Officer of the company Bob Chapek named both Hawkeye and The Book of Boba Fett as shows arriving in 2021, confirming that neither has been delayed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic beyond the end of the year.

Following the success of the Star Wars: The Mandalorian LEGO sets (which just saw three more releases under the subtheme), it seems logical that the LEGO Group would want to continue the adventures of Boba Fett and Fennec Shand in fresh models, considering that dedicated minifigures and pieces have already been made for them. We’ve got a reminder of all the upcoming Star Wars shows here.

Hawkeye has the potential for a LEGO Marvel iteration too, with every other Disney+ project in the franchise having at least one minifigure such as Loki and Sylvie in 71031 Marvel Studios. The show is one of two Marvel series that was announced for release in 2021 outlined in our original report. The other was Ms. Marvel, which was not named with the other 2021 releases during the investor’s calls.

We’ve yet to see a first look at the former Star Wars show, unlike the initial images for Hawkeye that have now been released showing us the designs for the two main characters. We’ll let you know as soon as we know more about The Book of Boba Fett.

It could be that a closer view of both series will come as part of the upcoming Disney+ Day on November 12, which will reveal new titles coming to the service. The upcoming LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales special may also get a further reveal.
