New LEGO Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch sets available now

Six brand new LEGO sets based on Star Wars: The Mandalorian, The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch are now available to purchase online and in stores.

With a dearth of new Star Wars movies to serve as inspiration for LEGO sets, the design team has turned to the recent run of Disney+ shows for this latest wave of models. We’d normally pick a couple of stand-outs at this stage, but that’s not an easy task this time round, because this just might be the best LEGO Star Wars line-up in recent memory.

Coming in at the top end of the price range is 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser, which offers the first playset-scale flagship since 2017’s 75190 First Order Star Destroyer, and bundles in key Mandalorian characters including Moff Gideon and Fennec Shand.

If your budget won’t quite stretch to that level, though, don’t worry: there’s plenty to tempt at lower price points, too, including the mostly-excellent 75316 Mandalorian Starfighter (and a couple of extra pieces will bring it up to totally-excellent), and the surprisingly brilliant 75311 Imperial Armored Marauder (surprising because, well, it’s just a big grey box).

It’s a strong minifigure line-up across the board, too, with highlights including Boba Fett in 75312 Boba Fett’s Starship and basically every character in 75314 The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle. You’ll find the full list below, which also includes two brand new 18+ sets in 75296 Darth Vader Meditation Chamber and 75309 Republic Gunship, if you really feel like blowing your budget.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
