Three details we love in the LEGO Icons 10312 Jazz Club 2023 modular building

LEGO Icons 10312 Jazz Club is full of details and while the set has yet to release, we’ve spotted three interesting things in official images.

Launching on January 1, 2023, for VIP members and January 4 widely, 10312 Jazz Club is the latest addition to the ever-expanding LEGO Modular Buildings Collection, featuring a Pizzeria, Jazz Club and a Tailor.

3 – A separate entrance

10312 Jazz Club’s main feature stretches across all three floors but it also includes a pizzeria on the ground floor. Above that restaurant though, a tailor is located. However, there’s no need to traverse through either the jazz club or pizzeria to use this service as a separate entrance has been integrated into the model.

This is a rarity for the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection as similar services above shops have had to rely on customers travelling through other businesses to use them such as the dentist and dance studio in 10255 Assembly Square

2 – Familiar artwork

The art gallery featured in 10297 Boutique Hotel appears to have done well since its introduction in the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection as several similar works of art can be found throughout 10312 Jazz Club.

These include a smaller image on the second floor of the club and a stylised music note in the dressing room. These works of art seem likely to be a reference to the previous art gallery model.

1 – A privacy fence

As the pizzeria sits further back compared to the jazz club in 10312 Jazz Club and other modular buildings, it runs the risk of its customers sitting next to an empty, undecorated wall while enjoying a slice. Thankfully, a privacy fence with added greenery is included to set the scene while customers eat their pizza.

Previous LEGO modular buildings with segments sitting further back haven’t had anything like this before and while not necessary, it’s an appreciated addition to improve the minifigure’s experience and general appearance of 10312 Jazz Club.
