Time is running out for the LEGO Swing Ship Ride GWP, again

One of the official online LEGO store’s returning offers for September is about to end, making this the last chance to get the Swing Ship GWP, again.

The once Asia-exclusive 5006746 Swing Ship Ride is still free to VIP members with any orders over £85 / $85 / €85 on LEGO.com, but shoppers with a purchase in mind might want to act quickly if they like this set, as time is running out to get it at no extra cost.

First offered in June 2021, the fairground-themed GWP was initially made available in China and South Korea in very limited numbers, but the LEGO Group decided to make it more widely available by offering it to everyone. Returning for a second run, the model is free with qualifying orders until September 12.

The model features exclusive printed tile reading ‘Leg Godt’, instead of the ‘Happy Children’s Day’ that was first seen included in it, and a microscale recreation of the theme park ride including a control terminal and queue lines.

There are plenty of new models to choose from on the official online store, including 10284 Camp Nou – FC Barcelona, which will also score you a free40485 FC Barcelona Celebration.

If those two GWP’s aren’t tempting enough, then September is home to more than a few other free builds including another shot at LEGO Ideas 40487 Sailboat Adventure very soon.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
