Time’s up for the LEGO Ideas x Target fan vote to determine a future set

The LEGO Ideas x Target fan vote, which will choose one of three previous LEGO Ideas 10K projects to be transformed into a future set, has ended.

For those who haven’t heard, on what would become the final day of the BrickLink Designer Program the LEGO Ideas team announced that in partnership with US retailer Target, one of three submissions that weren’t picked in a former review round would receive an official model. This would be determined via a fan vote between the three projects.

Time is now up for that fan vote as all the entries have been taken, and the LEGO Ideas team are giving themselves a month to go through each vote, check they are legitimate and get back to us with the final results.

The results for this vote are now confirmed to be coming in August 2022. At that time, we’ll know which of the above builds will receive an official set to be sold at LEGO stores worldwide as well as Target in the US. The FAQ on the LEGO Ideas blog also details that these results won’t affect the next review as this will be a bonus set on top of the usual assortment of fan-inspired models.

While we wait to see whether Working Mini Golf Course – Fully Playable by LEGOParadise, Viking Village by BrickHammer or Marine Life by Brick Dangerous becomes a LEGO Ideas set, the theme will also be present at LEGO CON 2022 in just over two weeks at the time of writing.
