Every theme that you’ll see at LEGO CON 2022

LEGO CON 2022 is coming next month, and we already know which themes will be featured with set reveals and more at the event.

Following the initial event in 2021, the LEGO Group has confirmed which themes will be represented at LEGO CON 2022, noting that this list includes set reveals and other content.

While not every theme will see a new model announcement, here’s a guide to what you can expect to see at LEGO CON 2022 on June 18.

Lightyear

Director of Lightyear, Angus MacLane, has been confirmed to be hosting a masterclass at LEGO CON 2022 after admitting his love for Classic Space upon the reveal of 76832 XL-15 Spaceship.

LEGO Friends

The LEGO Friends from Heartlake City will also appear at LEGO CON 2022, though we’re not sure in what capacity since the summer 2022 range has now been revealed and will be available when the event takes place on June 18.

Harry Potter

A special guest from the Harry Potter films will join us on a tour of Warner Bros. Studio London – The making of Harry Potter. Rumours of a $470 Hogwarts Express have also surfaced, meaning we might see a model reveal for this theme at LEGO CON 2022.

LEGO Ideas

LEGO Ideas will also be making an appearance at LEGO CON 2022. Recent rumours for the theme indicate that the Jazz Quartet could be coming next, though it might make more sense for the Foosball Table to be revealed, given that it was confirmed at LEGO CON 2021.

Marvel

The logo used in the trailer for LEGO CON 2022 was for Marvel Studios, meaning that whatever content we’ll see at the event is likely to be based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Out of a rumoured list of LEGO Marvel 2022 models, only one has yet to be confirmed.

NINJAGO

Tommy Andreasen has confirmed on Twitter that there will be NINJAGO reveals at the event and that you may see a familiar face provided the footage hasn’t been cut. With Crystalized confirmed for this summer, any content is most likely to focus on the upcoming season.

Minecraft

At LEGO CON 2021, one of the minifigures in 21183 The Training Grounds was determined through a fan vote. The theme is back at LEGO CON 2022 and we might get the chance to decide on another character coming in an upcoming model, provided it follows a similar pattern.

Technic

LEGO Technic’s presence in LEGO CON 2021 was limited to a challenge that used pre-recorded footage. Whether that will expand with a set reveal in 2022 has yet to be seen, though rumours of a supercar set have surfaced.

Star Wars

LEGO Star Wars 75341 Luke Skywalkers Landspeeder featured 3

Last year, three builds based on The Mandalorian were revealed at LEGO CON 2021, despite being featured in a catalogue before the event. As LEGO CON 2022 follows one month after Star Wars Celebration, where set reveals have already been teased, it may be best to lower expectations in case – unless the reported summer models are being saved for the official LEGO event.

BrickHeadz

The only upcoming BrickHeadz set that might be featured at the event as far as we know is 40547 Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader that will be at Star Wars Celebration. The caricature-based theme may have more to showcase, though we’ll have to wait for the event to know for sure.

Super Mario

Two months after LEGO CON 2022, the next wave of LEGO Super Mario featuring a Princess Peach figure will release so a showcase of her seems likely for the event. Alternatively, the previously listed 18+ creation could be revealed too.

Avatar

A new LEGO theme has been confirmed for LEGO CON 2022, and the appearance of a copyright notice for 20th Century Studios might suggest that it’s LEGO Avatar after the theme was mentioned in an interview.
