With San Diego Comic Con 2018 kicking off with preview night yesterday, the LEGO Group has provided a look at the company’s display area.
LEGO Master Model Maker Chris Steininger has given fans who can’t make it to San Diego Comic Con a tour of the LEGO stand via social media. The expert builder shows off the impressive builds adorning the stand, including Aquaman, Thanos and Ultrakatty.
The three San Diego Comic Con exclusive sets are also on display alongside 21311 Voltron and the recently revealed sets from The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. Given the importance of the character creator in LEGO DC Super Villains, digital screens will give visitors the opportunity to create their own villainous avatar.
Perhaps most impressive is the full size recreation of the Millennium Falcon cockpit, another great chance for those in attendance to get a nice photo. The stand also has space for the LEGO builds that fans will contribute to during the pop culture extravaganza.
There will also be the opportunity to buy new LEGO products early at the official booth, while TT Games will give fans a first chance to play LEGO DC Super Villains.
San Diego Comic Con 2018 runs from July 19 to July 22.
