Three new LEGO Disney Wish sets officially revealed

International prices and release dates have been confirmed for three new LEGO Disney sets, based on the upcoming movie, Wish.

It’s certainly a good year to be a Disney fan, with not only a movie centred around the brand’s 100th birthday on its way this year, but a rumoured three sets connected to it as well. These sets are now officially revealed: 43223 Asha and the Kingdom of Rosas, 43231 Asha’s Cottage, and 43224 King Magnifico’s Castle. Both focus on the main character, Asha, as a minidoll, alongside a number of other characters from Wish, due to release in cinemas on November 22, 2023.

The official listings on LEGO.com have not only given us a good look at all three of the sets in the official imagery but also confirmed international prices and the release date, with the trio of sets being available to buy from October 1, over a month ahead of the film’s premiere.

Here’s a rundown of everything we know about the LEGO Disney sets, as well as images from every angle.

43223 Asha and the Kingdom of Rosas

Price: £18.99 / $19.99 / €20.99 Pieces: 154 Release date: October 1, 2023

The smallest and cheapest of the two sets is 43223 Asha and the Kingdom of Rosas featuring a small 154-piece build of a house. The model itself is largely just a facade, with doors opening up to one interior wall, but it’s still packed with plenty of colour and life, including a basket full of fruit and vegetables for Asha to push.

The minidoll version of Asha is joined by her talking goat friend, Valentino, and Star, who is believed to be an actual falling star come to life (giving the movie its name, Wish). Presumably, the set depicts Asha travelling into the City of Rosas to sell her food and wares. After all, we know that this building is not her home because…

43231 Asha’s Cottage

Price: £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99 Pieces: 509 Release date: October 1, 2023

The other set that’s revealed is 43231 Asha’s Cottage, a much larger set priced at £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99 for the 509-piece set. Built in a similar style to 43202 The Madrigal House, 43231 Asha’s Cottage is spread across two floors, with a colourful yellow and purple facade. There are more minidolls to join the same version of Asha: Sakina and Sabino, as well as Star (although no Valentino this time).

The house sits on hinges so that it can swing out to reveal the inside during play. Going with the movie’s magical theme, there’s a wishing well included, as well as plenty of colourful decor for the interior.

43224 King Magnifico’s Castle

Price: £84.99 / $99.99 / €94.99 Pieces: 613 Release date: October 1, 2023

The third and final set is the largest of them all: 43224 King Magnifico’s Castle, home to the primary antagonist of the film, King Magnifico himself (voiced by Chris Pine). The 613-piece model is a classic Disney castle build, featuring Asha and Star once again, with two new minidolls for the King himself and Dahlia. The interior is split across four floors, from the kitchens below to a mysterious secret lab for the King.

All three sets will be available to buy from October 1, ranging from £18.99 to £84.99.
