Two new LEGO Marvel sets available now, including 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum

Two brand new LEGO Marvel sets are now available online and in-store, including what’s technically a mid-year modular building in 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum.

Designed to fit in seamlessly with the likes of 10278 Police Station and 10297 Boutique Hotel, 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum pulls multiple characters, events and references from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe into a single 2,708-piece set. Spanning three storeys and with nine minifigures in the box, it’s the definitive take on the Doctor Strange location.

That may be the headline LEGO Marvel release for August 2022, but it’s not the only one: also available from today is 76223 Nano Gauntlet, a same-but-different follow-up to last year’s 76191 Infinity Gauntlet. Here cast in dark red and silver rather than gold, gold and more gold, the Avengers: Endgame set offers a nice counterpart for the original gilded glove.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
