Upcoming LEGO 40587 Easter Basket gift-with-purchase revealed

An upcoming seasonal LEGO gift-with-purchase set has been revealed, with 40587 Easter Basket now listed on the official online store.

A new seasonal GWP set has appeared on LEGO.com, with a listing added for 40587 Easter Basket. The 368-piece model features a brick-built bunny with a head that rotates and ears that bend. The cute animal sits in a brown basket tied with a bow and is accompanied by a selection of colourful spring flowers. The price for the model is listed as £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99, although the promotional item will essentially be free with specific purchases.

There are currently no details regarding when 40587 Easter Basket will be available or what the spending threshold may be to obtain the GWP set, but a previous listing by a price comparison site suggests it may arrive on March 16, 2023. With Easter mere weeks away, that would certainly seem to make sense and link the model to the annual festive period. We’ll know more as soon as the LEGO Group makes an official announcement regarding the upcoming model.

There is currently only one LEGO GWP currently available online and in official stores and that’s the LEGO Friends Best Friend Notebook. The promotional item can be obtained until March 12 with spends of £60 / $65 / €65 and over on Friends, DOTS, Classic, Creator 3-in-1 or Disney Princess sets, while stocks last. In addition, a double VIP points promotion is also due to end tomorrow and applies to purchases of any LEGO Super Mario sets.
