Voting has started on the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 1

After its permanent return, the first series of the new LEGO BrickLink Designer Program has opened voting for over 300 potential sets.

375 projects are all up for a limited-edition LEGO set as part of the BrickLink Designer Program Series 1. Revealed in late 2022, this is the first series in the new permanent version of the BrickLink Designer Program.

After a lengthy period to enter designs, voting is now open for numerous builds, with the voting system using emojis to determine interest.

The three emoji correspond to how interested you are in the model and there is no limit on how many of the 375 designs you want to vote on. Vote tallies are being kept a secret and you only have until March 31, 2023, and 12pm PT to place your votes.

After this voting period, the votes will be reviewed in April and May before the five winning designs are announced in late May 2023, with crowdfunding following in February 2024. This is also confirmation that the first series will have five designs, and this seems likely to apply to each future series.

It’s a different method compared to the original iteration of the BrickLink Designer Program, but that was only for rejected LEGO Ideas projects and this ultimately gives more people a chance to have their build become a future, limited-edition set.
