What to expect from LEGO’s Boxing Day sale in 2024

The LEGO Group rounds out the year with a final batch of discounts in its Boxing Day sale each year, so what could we expect in 2024?

Each year, there’s one last chance to score a discount in the online LEGO store with the LEGO Group’s Boxing Day sale. Although we don’t know for sure what’s going to be included this year, we’ve taken a look back at the last three years of sales to make some predictions.

The official LEGO Boxing Day sales tend to include a combination of retiring and new sets. For example, 2023 offered final discounts on retirees like 76210 Hulkbuster, 76215 Black Panther, and 10293 Santa’s Visit, as well as new-to-2023 builds like 75365 Yavin 4 Rebel Base, 43225 The Little Mermaid Royal Clamshell, and 21339 BTS Dynamite.

Dozens of LEGO sets are typically included in the Boxing Day sales, stretching across multiple themes, such as licensed ones like LEGO Star Wars and Marvel all the way to LEGO’s own City and Friends sets. While a lot of retiring sets have already sold out on LEGO.com, we can almost definitely expect to see the ones that the LEGO Group still has in stock see some final reductions at the end of the year.

In terms of how much of a discount to expect, this does vary according to location. In 2022 and 2023, the UK and Europe saw discounts of up to 30%, while the US only got 20%. However, in 2023 all three regions saw discounts of up to 40%. Here’s hoping that rings true for 2024 as well, although it’s worth noting that the majority of sets were discounted by just 20-30%.

We won’t know for a fact what’s included in the LEGO Group’s Boxing Day sales until they drop but stay tuned to Brick Fanatics where we’ll report the deals as soon as we know them on December 26. I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
