Who’s who in the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Ahsoka sets

Two new LEGO Star Wars models arriving on September 1 include a whole host of characters, so let’s take a look at who’s who in the sets.

The first of what may be many LEGO announcements at San Diego Comic-Con dropped yesterday, with three new LEGO Star Wars sets launching on September 1. Of the trio, two are based on ships and characters from the upcoming Ahsoka TV show, with the first two episodes of the series dropping on Disney+ on August 23.

75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle and 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter feature an intriguing selection of ships and minifigures from a galaxy far, far away, with some being new iterations of familiar faces and others making their brick-based debut. With that in mind, here’s who’s who in the upcoming LEGO Star Wars sets:

Ahsoka Tano

Fresh from her appearances in both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Rosario Dawson’s former Jedi will be joining forces with her fellow Rebels crewmates to search for Ezra Bridger and take down the returning heir to the Empire, Grand Admiral Thrawn.

The minifigure version of Ahsoka Tano included with 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle boasts a double-sided printed head, shorter lekku, more detailed torso, arm and leg printing, plus dual trans-clear lightsabers.

Sabine Wren

A former member of The Ghost’s crew, Wren is also a Madalorian and graffiti artist played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo. The character’s minifigure in 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle benefits from an upgraded look and helmet print, as well as a new hair piece and her very own green lightsaber.

Professor Huyang

Voiced by David Tennant, Huyang is a lightsaber-crafting droid who originally appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Taking on what appears to be more of a mechanic’s role in 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle, the character’s minifigure features a new and unique printed head piece, as well as a printed torso and legs

Marrok

One of three villains spread across the two upcoming LEGO Star Wars sets, Marrok is said to be an Imperial Inquisitor who survived the fall of the Empire and now sides with Thrawn. Played in the Disney+ show by Paul Darnell, the minifigure of the 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle villain includes new helmet and printed armour elements, plus a lethal dual-bladed red lightsaber.

Baylan Skoll

The late Ray Stevenson takes on the role of Baylan Skoll, a former Jedi who survived Order 66 by fleeing into the Unknown Regions. He returns in the show as both an ally of Thrawn and master of Shin Hati. The character’s minifigure in 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter receives a suitably dark outfit and comes with a red lightsaber blade, despite Skoll having a distinctive orange version in a recent trailer.

Shin Hati

Baylan’s apprentice (always two there are) is a dark Force user sent after Ahsoka and is played in the show by Ivanna Sakhno. Included with 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter, she also comes with a possibly incorrect coloured lightsaber blade, as well as what may be a new hair piece and a double-sided head print.

Morgan Elspeth

First appearing in The Mandalorian Season 2, Morgan Elsbeth was the Imperial Magistrate of Calodan on the planet Corvus. Portrayed by Diana Lee Inosanto and appearing as a minifigure in 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter, she may be out for revenge against Ahsoka for losing her position on the planet and is said to be another ally of Thrawn.

Captain Porter

Another new face in the Star Wars universe, there’s no word yet on who exactly will be playing New Republic pilot Captain Porter in the show. The minifigure included with 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter features a blue and white uniform with tan gloves, a double-sided head, new helmet printing and colouring, plus a separate hair piece.

New Republic Astromech Droid

At this stage, Captain Porter’s 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter Astromech companion doesn’t have a name, although it’s possible the droid could gain one as the Ahsoka TV series progresses. As it is, this is the first time we’ve seen a figure of such a droid in these striking blue and yellow colours, so it will definitely be a welcome addition to any LEGO Star Wars fan’s collection.

75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle and 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter will be available from LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores from September 1.
