LEGO Art 31206 The Rolling Stones officially revealed
After an early reveal at a retailer, the LEGO Group has officially confirmed when 31206 The Rolling Stones is hitting shelves around the world.
LEGO Art 31206 The Rolling Stones will launch on August 1, 2022, in the US or June 1 in the UK and Europe. With 1,998 pieces, the model recreates the logo of the classic band in a style of set that’s new for LEGO Art.
Previously, the theme has only featured mosaics of various sizes, though this 3D sculpture might indicate that LEGO Art is ready to expand its boundaries to include other types of artwork. The flat logo is named as a 3D model thanks to the layering of the plate that creates texture on the tongue, mouth and teeth.
A video for the announcement was also shared on social media, offering a demonstration of how the build can be hung on a wall.
31206 The Rolling Stones is scheduled for launch on June 1 in the UK and Europe or August 1 in the US for £129.99 / €149.99 / $149.99. No pre-orders have gone live yet, so your first chance to grab it will likely be on release day.
