LEGO Harry Potter stop motion advertising campaign
The recently released LEGO Harry Potter sets have been used in a series of stop motion animated clips to promote the range.
No LEGO fan could have avoided the news that the boy wizard is back, with LEGO Harry Potter sets delighting fans of the Wizarding World. To help spread the word, the LEGO Group has released a series of stop motion clips that recreate classic moments from the movies using the newly released LEGO sets, such as 75955 Hogwarts Express and 75956 Quidditch Match.
These little snippets are being shared on social media and can also be seen on ITV in the UK. Each Saturday, the channel is showing a Harry Potter movie and is screening the clips during the commercial breaks.
Each video is a fun reminder that talented fans will be busy using the sets to make new brickfilms, which will no doubt start popping up online over the next few months. New clips are expected next weekend.
71043 Hogwarts Castle was recently released as the LEGO Group’s largest ever Harry Potter set.
The LEGO Harry Potter sets are available now at shop.LEGO.com. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released in cinemas on November 16.
