Window cleaner is the secret to applying LEGO stickers
The secret to applying LEGO stickers has been sitting on the LEGO customer service website all along.
It turns out that the LEGO design team has shared a top tip for those who find applying LEGO stickers correctly frustrating. Community outreach professional Jordan Paxton pointed out that the secret to getting the sticker on correctly is window cleaner – providing a link to the customer service section of the LEGO website:
Best way of applying decals or stickers to LEGO models
Our designers have shared this trick for applying decals: lightly spray a window cleaner on the surface of the parts to be decorated. This will allow you to adjust the decal without damaging it. Once you have the decal in the right place, use a flat edge to smooth out any bubbles and let it dry.
Brick Fanatics will be keen to see how this works out for fans, so please share any attempts on social media.
The Brick Separator is also a handy tool when it comes to sticker application…
