LEGOLAND Windsor reveals the world’s first DUPLO rollercoaster
The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort’s DUPLO Valley is getting a new rollercoaster, which will be the first DUPLO rollercoaster in the world.
Saturday, March 14 will see the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort open a refreshed DUPLO Valley, that will feature the new LEGO DUPLO rollercoaster. New images have been revealed that give an artist’s impression of what the new attraction will look like.
DUPLO Dino Coaster is designed for children aged 2- 5 years, which will whizz around huge DUPLO dinosaur models, set amongst palm trees and other themed elements. There will be plenty of photo opportunities with the new installations once the rise is over.
The outdoor Brickville play area will become DUPLO Playtown, featuring a new rocket play structure. It will feature interactive play panels, rope climbs and slides and at the top, a button for a “blast off” moment. DUPLO Valley Airport will also be getting a refreshed look.
DUPLO Puppet Theatre will feature a new puppet-show, with the Frog Prince set to tell the tale of Princess Money-Plenty who loses her Golden Ball in the depths of a murky pond She must be rescued by LEGOLAND’s very own 007 – James Pond. The Frog Prince will rotate with Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
A new LEGOLAND Adult and Toddler Annual Pass aims to make it easier for pre-schoolers to visit the theme park. During term-time, a toddler and their adult can visit as many times as they like for £49.
