LEGO wants your opinion on its new product ideas
The LEGO Group has launched a public survey to collect feedback on concepts for a new line of licensed merchandise.
If you’ve ever wanted to have your say on the next big LEGO thing, now’s your chance. The 15-minute survey from the LEGO Group is aimed at understanding consumers’ shopping habits and preferences, and gathering impressions on a potential range of licensed LEGO merchandise – such as homeware, clothes, gear and more.
The survey is aimed at fans in the UK and US specifically, and asks how much you’d be willing to pay for certain types of merchandise. (The LEGO Group says fans from other countries can participate, but should assign themselves to one of those regions and consider prices in either USD or GBP respectively.) Among those are t-shirts, hoodies, backpacks, upscaled LEGO elements and coasters.
Some of the more unique concepts shown off in the survey include a traditional LEGO lamp upscaled into a real, working lamp; a knight’s helmet that can separate into two pieces for internal storage; and an upscaled trans-clear 1×1 round brick used as a vase. (That one seems like a good fit for the Botanical Collection sets that don’t come with their own pots or vases.)
There’s room in the survey to provide written feedback on the designs, and the LEGO Group says answers will help to shape the company’s future portfolio. All responses are anonymous.
Click here to fill in the survey, which should take around 15 minutes. You’ve got until March 4 to do so.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
