A new creature may have been teased for LEGO Fortnite

Following initial teasers for what seems to be a new LEGO Fortnite update, the latest video appears to be hinting at the addition of a new creature.

LEGO Fortnite’s X (formerly Twitter) account has been frequently sharing farming-centric posts over the past few days and it could be teasing a new update for the survival crafting mode with references to features not currently in-game.

Now, a new post appears to be teasing a new animal coming to LEGO Fortnite. The roar in the video could be from a nearby Brute but the ominous wording in the post seems strange given that the creatures have been in-game since launch.

The roar doesn’t sound exactly like that of a Brute either, featuring a different pitch and sound effects. There is one animal from within Fortnite that it reminds us of though.

The Klombo from Battle Royale’s third chapter has been missing for some time in-game but its roar sounds similar to what you can hear in the video. Based on the size of these two creatures, something big could be coming to LEGO Fortnite.

It’s entirely possible that the roar is coming from a Brute or at least a new variety of Brute and nothing has been confirmed for LEGO Fortnite beyond the upcoming LEGO Star Wars content. The combination of this roar and other parts of the recent teasers may be a sign that another update to LEGO Fortnite is on the way, likely following May the 4th and its additions.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
