Avatar: The Way of Water is out now and LEGO sets are coming soon

While there’s a bit longer to wait until the five LEGO sets are on shelves, the long-awaited Avatar: The Way of Water is available to watch now.

After more than 13 years since the debut of Pandora and the Na’vi, James Cameron’s Avatar sequel has arrived in cinemas worldwide, making it one of the few films to precede its accompanying LEGO models, not including waits of a year or more.

Continuing the story that started over a decade ago, Avatar: The Way of Water sees the return of many of the original cast, including Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, Zoe Saldana as Neytiri and Stephen Lang as Quaritch. As well as them, new characters are being introduced including Jack Champion as Spider.

Many of these characters have minifigures in the five Avatar: The Way of Water models launching on January 1, 2023:

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
