The LEGO BIONICLE fan game in development from Team Kanohi has shared a first look at the gameplay for 810NICLE Day.
BIONICLE Day, or August 10, wasn’t just celebrated this year with an Ideas project passing into the second 2022 review as Team Kanohi has shared an update on their BIONICLE fan game.
BIONICLE: Masks of Power will be free when it eventually releases and reimagines the constraction theme as a game that’s been in development for over five years using Unreal Engine 5. It’s not official by any means, but this latest video for the game demonstrates the passion that has been poured into this project.
We’ve previously received a look at the environment and graphics for BIONICLE: Masks of Power but this is the first time that we’re getting to see how the game plays, with quick movements and combat featuring brick-built enemies.
From dodge rolls to switching masks on the fly, the gameplay has everything you’d expect from the action genre and more features specific to BIONICLE.
We don’t yet have a release date for BIONICLE: Masks of Power but the game will be released on Steam when the team are finished with it.
