Brick-built terrariums project hit 10K on LEGO Ideas

Another LEGO Ideas project has reached the third 2021 review stage, this time suggesting a potential addition to the Botanical Collection.

Galaxy333‘s Terrariums has managed to reach the coveted number of supporters on LEGO Ideas that means it will be considered as a future model for sale. As a collection of plant-themed builds, these miniature natural environments might be perfect for a crossover between LEGO Ideas and the Creator Expert themes, fitting in well with the other creations in the Botanical Collection.

A total of four terrariums are featured in the submission, each with unique fauna growing inside and borrowing techniques from 92177 Ship in a Bottle‘s brick-built glasswork.

From mushrooms to succulents, this project is not the first greenery-themed build to feature in a LEGO Ideas review round with a collection of plants also included in the first 2021 review. We’re still awaiting results for that round so time will tell if there’s room for more LEGO foliage in the theme.

Galaxy333 also has another project in the second 2021 phase of the LEGO Ideas review process with a detailed log cabin in the running for a future set. We’ll have to see if this new 10K club member will be able to have two models on shelves in such close proximity.

This project now joins Land Ahoy as the second submission in the third 2021 review phase. This follows on from a total of 34 entries currently being judged as part of the second 2021 LEGO Ideas review round.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
