Every brand new LEGO set available from April 1, 2023

A total of 14 brand new LEGO sets are now available online and in-store, from themes including Marvel, LEGO Icons and Indiana Jones.

It’s very much quality over quantity at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores this month, with only a handful of new sets available from April 1 – at least compared to the avalanche of new products that arrived in January and March. But there’s still plenty to sink your teeth into here, including the highly-anticipated return of fan-favourite characters.

We’re talking not just about Indiana Jones there, but also Star-Lord, Rocket, Groot and the gang in this month’s new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 sets. All those and more are available from today at midnight in your region, along with 40590 Houses of the World 2, which is free with qualifying purchases until April 9.

The LEGO Group still hasn’t fully confirmed (at the time of writing) whether that threshold will be £180 / $200 / €200 or £220 / $250 / €250, but you should be able to find out for sure over at LEGO.com. LEGO BrickHeadz

The LEGO Group is easing us into this month’s onslaught on our wallets with three new LEGO Minecraft BrickHeadz, the game’s first since 2018’s 41612 Steve & Creeper. Of all the BrickHeadz subthemes, a video game that’s already blocky feels like the most appropriate fit. And, you know. Llama!

LEGO Disney

Hands up who’s ready to relive the opening eight minutes of Pixar’s Up, only now in brick form. Anyone? No? Okay, well it’s still worth buying 43217 ‘Up’ House for all the fun bits that came after that. It’s one of three new LEGO Disney 100th anniversary sets available from today, along with the minifigure-packed 43212 Disney Celebration Train.

LEGO Icons

The first LEGO System Land Rover recreates the most iconic version of the off-road vehicle, which means it should still be a nice companion to 42110 Land Rover Defender if you own that one already. (The LEGO Group knows what it’s doing.) You can buy it today if you’re a VIP member – and if you aren’t, why not? Signing up is free, and comes with all sorts of benefits.

LEGO Indiana Jones

The LEGO Group is revisiting two classic movies across its three stellar new Indiana Jones sets, in Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. The Temple of Doom was almost on the cards, but cancelled at the last minute, and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull apparently never had a chance. Sorry, Shia.

LEGO Marvel

LEGO Marvel fans will be going gangbusters in April, with four new sets based on James Gunn’s trilogy of Guardians of the Galaxy movies available now. Three are inspired specifically by Vol. 3, in cinemas in May, while the fourth is LEGO Marvel’s first new helmet since Iron Man’s in 2020. (The Carnage and Venom busts don’t count.)
