Every LEGO Speed Champions Formula 1 2025 car, ranked
Unsure where to start with the LEGO Speed Champions Formula 1 2025 wave? We’ve built and ranked all 10 cars from every single team.
Formula 1 is all about who comes out on top – and the LEGO Speed Champions sets are no different. We’ve put all 10 cars head to head and ranked them according to build, appearance, and accuracy. As much as possible, we’ve got motorsports politics out of it, so this really is our honest opinion about which car should be at the bottom of the list. No bias here.
10 – 77243 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 F1
Pieces: 251 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 36 LEGO: Order now More details: Read our full review

There’s nothing really offensive about 77243 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 F1, but there’s nothing really good about it either. That earns the LEGO Speed Champions car its place at the bottom of this list. It almost feels like the LEGO Group knows that the car will sell well, thanks to Red Bull fans, and didn’t bother to put much of interest in the car. It’s fine – but it doesn’t have any of the dramatic flair that a Formula 1 car should have.
9 – 77251 McLaren F1 Team MCL38
Pieces: 269 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 40 LEGO: Order now More details: Read our full review

77251 McLaren F1 Team MCL38 is far from boring but you might be wishing for a fuller build. It’s filled with fiddly pieces and particularly frustrating stickers. At least it pays off with a colourful and accurate build that will appeal to any McLaren fans who don’t already own 76919 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car. If you do, there’s not enough that’s new to warrant buying this as well, unless you’re picking up the whole collection and want them to match stylistically.
8 – 77248 BWT Alpine F1 Team A524
Pieces: 259 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 29 LEGO: Order now More details: Read our full review

It’s a testament to the quality of the wave that it doesn’t take long on this list for us to start nitpicking. 77248 BWT Alpine F1 Team A524 is certainly an impressive build but the splitting of crucial stickers for the ‘BWT’ logo pull this build several steps down the ranking. It’s a shame because the vibrant colours and engaging but approachable build make 77248 BWT Alpine F1 Team A524 an excellent entry point to both Formula 1 and the Speed Champions theme.
7 – 77246 Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01 F1
Pieces: 248 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 36 LEGO: Order now More details: Read our full review

77246 Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01 F1 is a lot of fun as a LEGO set. There are creative building techniques, including some spiritual connections that link it to its sibling, 77243 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 F1, and the final effect is a punchy little car that stands out amongst an impressive wave. However, there are some crucial inaccuracies, particularly around the colour, that might trouble some dedicated Racing Bull fans (if that’s what we’re calling you nowadays).
6 – 77244 Mercedes-AMG F1 W15
Pieces: 267 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 33 LEGO: Order now More details: Read our full review

A top-tier team (once at least) and an equally impressive LEGO set. The iconic branding of Mercedes Petronas is captured expertly in 77244 Mercedes-AMG F1 W15. Rather than attempting to be a wholly accurate replica of the real thing, the LEGO Speed Champions set delivers a LEGO-fied version of a legendary Formula 1 brand that is sure to please both fans of the team and the theme equally.
5 – 77249 Williams Racing FW46 F1
Pieces: 263 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 32 LEGO: Order now More details: Read our full review

Tasteful branding, clever use of stickers, and a classy colour scheme means that 77249 Williams Racing FW46 F1 is one of the most elegant brick-built cars on the Speed Champions grid. The muted shades of blue might mean your eye skims over this set in favour of other brighter options but this should be at the top of your list for a satisfying and creative build, from wing to wing.
4 – 77250 MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24
Pieces: 242 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 31 LEGO: Order now More details: Read our full review

The biggest complaint we have about 77250 MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24 is the minifigure and its clumsy double-face print. Other than that, the model neatly circumvents problems other cars in the wave don’t manage to create an impressive final model. The colour scheme pops perfectly and the stickers manage to add to the aerodynamic foundations laid by the bricks themselves.
3 – 77245 Aston Martin Aramco F1 AMR24
Pieces: 269 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 33 LEGO: Order now More details: Read our full review

We almost had 77245 Aston Martin Aramco F1 AMR24 in first place due to its impeccable recreation of the real car’s side pods and curves and the fact that it’s one of the most fascinating builds from the wave. However, it simply can’t place higher than this as soon as you compare it to a photo of the real car. The green is not even close to the teal and, being such an integral part of the Aston Martin brand, it’s hard to get past.
2 – 77247 KICK Sauber F1 Team C44
Pieces: 259 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 24 LEGO: Order now More details: Read our full review

A surprise favourite, the real Sauber Formula 1 team has never scored this high in the Constructors but 77247 KICK Sauber F1 Team C44 manages to bring it home for the team. The vibrant colour scheme doesn’t hide the immaculate attention to detail throughout, as well as the genius use of stickers on the front wing to create the illusion of layers. It’s P2 for 77247 KICK Sauber F1 Team C44.
1 – 77242 Ferrari SF-24 F1
Pieces: 275 Minifigures: 1 Stickers: 38 LEGO: Order now More details: Read our full review

One of the most piece-heavy cars to build, 77242 Ferrari SF-24 F1 is a stunning tribute to one of the most storied teams in Formula 1. The blockier side pods of the real-life Ferrari are created using rows of tiles, giving 77242 Ferrari SF-24 F1 an entirely different look to many of its companions. Plus, we’re forever thankful that this set came out before the Ferrari logo on the rear wing was replaced by an HP monstrosity.
