Fiona Dawson joins LEGO Board of Directors

The LEGO Group has appointed Fiona Dawson, Global President of Mars Food, Multisales and Global Customers, to its Board of Directors.

A new appointment has been made to the LEGO Group’s Board of Directors. Fiona Dawson having been announced as joining the board, with experience working for Mars, Incorporated – a company with $35 billion of annual revenue – for over thirty years. She is part of the Mars, Incorporated Leadership team and is responsible for Mars Foods’ portfolio of household brands.

Dawson is also Chair of the United Kingdom’s Women’s Business Council, a government-backed and industry-led group with the stated aim of advancing women’s careers in business and addressing the gender pay gap.

“I am very pleased to welcome Fiona to the LEGO Group Board,” says Chairman of the LEGO Group Board of Directors, Thomas Kirk Kristiansen. “She is a purpose driven leader with experience working in a global, family business. She brings with her an impressive track record of building successful brands and businesses as well as championing diversity and inclusion. Fiona will play a key role in the continued development of the LEGO Group and I am looking forward to working with her on the Board.”
