First look at LEGO Harry Potter BrickHeadz reveals adorable minute details
An early look at three sets of LEGO Harry Potter BrickHeadz ahead of their release on June 1 shows off plenty of fun details in the builds.
LEGO YouTuber SwiftBricks has reviewed all three upcoming LEGO Harry Potter BrickHeadz: 40616 Harry Potter & Cho Chang, 40617 Draco Malfoy & Cedric Diggory, and 40618 Kingsley Shacklebolt & Nymphadora Tonks. She was enthused about all three BrickHeadz duos, picking out some choice details, like Cedric’s accuracy to Robert Pattinson’s version of the character and clever use of LEGO elements to create bangs for Cho Chang. Special mention also goes to the Quidditch robe hoods, which use different levels to create an illusion of the hood spilling down the back.
“The cape is very well done,” they note, before noting that Cedric’s hair has almost the exact same quiffed quality that he sports in the movies.
Other notable features include the printed elements that make up Kingsley’s hat and come together to create an authentically curved appearance. The new Quidditch torsos are also a neat touch, promoting a sense of unity between 40616 Harry Potter & Cho Chang and 40617 Draco Malfoy & Cedric Diggory.
