There’s a Galidor reference in LEGO 11021 90 Years of Play

Galidor continues to be subject to easter eggs in LEGO sets with 11021 90 Years of Play referencing Nick Bluetooth from the unique theme.

11021 90 Years of Play is the first of at least a few models for the 90th anniversary of the LEGO Group, featuring instructions to build 15 recreations of classic sets. While we’ve already seen an expansion to it in the form of a polybag, but it turns out that there’s another reference hidden in the model, as revealed by designer George Gilliatt.

Galidor is back, again, in 11021 90 Years of Play as the set includes enough elements to create a glinched version of the character. For those who are not familiar, that’s a term used to describe when the character from the outer dimension changes his limbs to anything he can imagine.

The designer invites anyone to guess what the Nick Bluetooth figure in 11021 90 Years of Play has glinched with, and we can see what appears to be Tahu’s leg in the mix.

A similar Galidor reference appeared in 10297 Boutique Hotel, showing that the older theme is still fresh in the minds of those at the LEGO Group. You can pick up 11021 90 Years of Play in-store and online now, ready for the 90th anniversary later this year.
