Ghibli film joins LEGO Ideas first 2023 review thanks to 10K project 

The LEGO Group may cross paths with Studio Ghibli in the future as another Ideas project based on an animated film is in a review phase. 

LEGO Ideas is no stranger to animation studio Studio Ghibli, as another submission inspired by one of the team’s films has reached a review stage. Motorized Howl’s Moving Castle by ericlego321 is now sitting in the first 2023 LEGO Ideas review round alongside six other projects.

Howl’s Moving Castle was released in 2004 and as noted by the user, will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2024. Provided it is approved, it may stand a chance at getting a set just in time for the anniversary. 

The titular moving structure is the subject of the LEGO Ideas project, with motorised elements incorporated for an interactive feature.
