LEGO Star Wars 75369 Boba Fett Mech includes new minifigure variant

There’s an interesting and new character minifigure variant included with the upcoming LEGO Star Wars75369 Boba Fett Mech.

Three new LEGO Star Wars Mechs were revealed earlier today, with the models aimed at younger fans of a galaxy far, far away and featuring a trio of iconic villains. The sets are due to launch in summer 2023 and include 75368 Darth Vader’s Mech, 75369 Boba Fett Mech and 75370 Stormtrooper Mech.

Each set features an oversized mech styled to look like the character in question, complete with scaled-up weapon and minifigure counterpart. While we’ve certainly seen the Darth Vader and Stormtrooper minifigures in other LEGO Star Wars sets before, the latest iteration of Boba Fett is in fact a new version of the famous bounty hunter.

At first glance75369 Boba Fett Mech’s minifigure (above right) would seem to be very similar to the version included with 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City (above left) and 75060 Slave 1 (above centre). However, there are subtle differences between all three minifigures, making each one unique and therefore equally collectible.

75369 Boba Fett Mech boasts a newly-designed version of the character, one that features updated printed torso and leg pieces and pauldron (mini cape). As far as we can tell, the upcoming Boba Fett minifigure’s helmet hasn’t been altered, with a paint job that matches previous versions. There’s no hint yet as to which head piece will be lurking under that helmet though, so your guess is as good as ours at this stage.

We’ll be able to check out 75369 Boba Fett Mech in more detail, when all three LEGO Star Wars Mechs arrive later this year.
