Fan-made coffee table combines two LEGO Star Wars UCS sets

An expensive custom project has combined two LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collectors Series sets with a coffee table for an eye-catching display.

Over on Reddit, nerdboy_sam has devised an interesting method to keep 75192 Millennium Falcon and 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina dust-free, while still in sight. They display the two inside a coffee table.

Their solution may be a familiar one, as fitting 75192 Millennium Falcon inside a coffee table isn’t a new idea. However, it’s not just the Millennium Falcon in this custom coffee table as 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina is included for a complete scene.

In the comments, the user clarifies their cost breakdown of the build, not including the two sets. They estimate that the table includes six – or so – baseplates for $10 to $15 each. They believe the table to have cost them around $50 and the plexiglass another $100.

Adding these estimates to the prices of the two sets and this custom coffee table could have cost the user at least $1,459.98. That’s not including the many minifigures placed in the display though, which the user guesses to be between 50 and 60, and the other custom models.

It’s an interesting way to expand on the concept of a LEGO coffee table, though those with a lot of 2×4 bricks can try another method.

Both LEGO Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon and 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina are available now for £734.99 / $849.99 / €849.99 and £344.99 / $399.99 / €399.99 respectively. You can read our reviews of the massive models by clicking here and here respectively.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
